President Abraham Lincoln arrived and departed from this railroad station on November 18-19, 1863, during his trip to Gettysburg to deliver an address for the ceremony dedicating a new national cemetery. Park and Ride located on the south side of W. 5 miles of the original 1880s Seattle Lake Shore and Eastern Railway.
